SV305C is a color entry-level planetary camera that performs well in planetary photography, solar and lunar photography, and is suitable for EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy).
SV305C planetary camera utilizes the IMX662 sensor, a 1/2.8" back-illuminated sensor with a pixel size of 2.9um. It can handle up to 38ke full well charge to avoid overexposure effectively.
The IMX662 sensor has low readout noise, no glow, improved NIR, particularly in the red spectral band, and enhanced light sensitivity.
The SV305 planetary camera offers a high-speed mode for planetary imaging and a long exposure mode for capturing the sky in the sharpcap software. These modes can be quickly set with one key according to your shooting needs and can be saved for future one-key setting convenience.
The SV305C telescope camera is equipped with a 128MB DDRIII image buffer. When the USB interface is not busy or interrupted, the memory caches the image and transfers it to the computer to prevent frame loss or damage.
The SV305C color camera features an ROI (Region of Interest) function, allowing you to set any resolution and read out a smaller region of interest from the sensor to maintain a consistent image scale and increase the capture rate.
With the BIN (binning) function of the SV305C color camera, two adjacent pixels can be merged in a 2x2 pattern, enhancing camera sensitivity.
The SV305 CMOS camera comes with a detachable UV/IR CUT protective glass that allows you to switch different filters according to your shooting needs for various shooting experiences.
You can use the SV305C camera with a 1.25-inch universal astronomical interface. The front of the camera features a CS interface and is also equipped with a CS-C adapter ring, enabling compatibility with both C-mount and CS-mount lenses.
The SV305 planetary camera incorporates HCG (High Conversion Gain) noise reduction technology. When the gain is increased, the HCG mode is automatically activated, effectively reducing readout noise.
